In the last newsletter, I mentioned how the latest Content at Scale AI update was achieving close to 100% original score in Originality.ai (and CAS own AI detector).
Well on Friday, two days later, I was testing new outputs and the score had dropped down to as low as 26% original which was a big surprise:
And yesterday I tested again with a full 2700 word new blog post output and the score is back up to 74%:
I really feel like this is a game where you need to be one step ahead of the detectors and also Google.
But of course, the outputs I’m testing above have had zero edits - getting a human editor to spend 5 minutes would dramatically improve the score and derisk the situation.

Centurica released its 2022 Buyers Report which confirms that the sold listing % peaked in Q3 2020 (top of the bull market for sellers) and that the trend is now very much down:
The upwards trend in total listings combined with the downwards trend in percentage of sold listings does, however, suggest a movement toward a new market dynamic. This new market is one in which potential buyers are confronted by a range of choices, while sellers may have to wait longer than anticipated or have to accept a lower SDE multiple than their target.

In last week’s newsletter I had just minted Tim Ferriss’ NFT called The Legend of Cockpunch and was thinking of holding to post reveal on Friday, depending on how the price action was going.
Well the price rallied from the 0.3ETH mint price up tot 1.8ETH but then started dropping quickly, and I got out just after it broke 1.5ETH for a nice 1.2 ETH profit.
The price is now sub 0.8ETH after dropping to around 0.6ETH at its pico bottom:
But there have been some big sales, up to 15ETH, and the art is actually growing on me, even though my initial reaction was this is pretty bad:

Rob Walling from MicroConf just posted a great video on 7 SaaS ideas that he thinks will take off next year:
Rob actually pulled these ideas from the Nugget database by Justin Vincent, and there could be a great investment opportunity by building out these businesses, which for me (with zero technical skills) would mean partnering with a developer.
Ok that’s it for this week. If you’re reading this on the web and you’re not yet subscribed you can do so using the button above.
